Load Media UK was set up in association with Keynote Studios and are one of the leading distributors within drum and bass, and have broadened into house, dubstep, reggae, breaks and garage. The list includes some of the most respected labels and producers in the scene like, Dylans' Freak Recordings, Technical Itchs' Tech Itch, Digitals' Timeless Recordings, Callides' System Shock Recordings, DJ Vapours' 36Htz and Baileys' Intasound to name a few.

Load are based in Reading and they boast fully experienced staff members: Darren is in charge of sales (also assistant manager) and Ally (Nu-Balance) on A&R, Umair is studio manager and in charge of accounts and James and Jo in Dispatch. The Load team all have their own things going on. At Load, all of the staff are involved in the music scene, Noel owns Keynote Recordings, Darren DJ’s under the name ‘Deadly P’, he owns Deadly Records and hosts the Load Media show on Jungletrain.net every Friday 5-7pm GMT. Ally who has been part of the scene since 1992 writes and produces D&B and Hip-Hop. Umair plays in several bands and manages Keynote Studios. Jo's band the Whispering Knees are currently doing really well for themselves and playing lots of gigs around the country. And James DJ's and produces D&B under the name Cause & Effect. Together we all run the Load imprint which is a label that we set up to break new artists that are coming through Load

Keynote Studio’s has just been refurbished, with several large recording areas, 48 channel TLAudio desk, along with a host of other hardware and software, with extensive microphone selection for live recording. Engineers that use the studio include Jim Warren who is front of house engineer for Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Duran Duran among others. He also helped produce local band Whispering Knees. Umair who is the Studio Manager and an expierienced engineer also offers music production courses that are tailored to your needs.
